Hi! I found my passion for reptiles completely by accident and I’m so glad I did! I got my first snake at 16 and haven’t stopped. The health, safety and comfortability of my animals is my main priority whether their in my care for a day, a week or the rest of their lives. I work towards creating a trustworthy, safe and reliable business and a reptile haven.
As well as working along side animals for many years, both professionally and personally, i have also completed courses in Conservation: A Global Perspective on Reptile Survival and in Reptile Welfare.
I am also happy to say that after a two year break from education in which i developed this business i will now be going to college for Animal Management!
Ellie Waller and Jen Thomasson, we are two young adults who have a passion and deep love of reptiles. I have been keeping reptiles for three years and Jenna for two we have learned and continue to learn a great deal. Both Jen and i have reptiles of our own who have become valuable and loved members of our family. We hope to continue to grow our unique family.
At Snakes R us we have high hopes that our business can become something great and lead to us becoming successful, trusted exotic pet suppliers and caretakers.
In association with Shirley aquatics reptiles.
Our animals are our top priority, we are continuing to learn about the needs of each individual reptile and care for each one in our family, no matter the cost, time or effort we will do whatever it takes to allow these reptiles to lead a full, happy life. We hope to be able to help educate people who wish to learn more about the reptiles of the world.
Quotes available upon request. I am happy to announce that we are now accepting boarding's! If you are going on holiday, going to an event or just want a few days peace, then don't hesitate to contact us via email, the website, text or by calling! We can take in nearly any reptile or amphibian, depending on available space. The boarding of larger reptiles will need to be discussed in further detail as they may require extra care and we may not have the available space.
There may be situations where we ask you to provide your own heating or to bring along some décor, this is because we may not have the specific heating that your animal need and a familiar piece of décor can reduce the stress of the animal when moving to a new place.
Details of the boarding can be discussed through email.
If you have any questions please feel free to message!
All animals now looking for their forever home.
Pet Only Adult Female Amel Corn. Unknown date of birth, approx. 10yrs old
This girl was a rescue i took on, she came to me extremely overweight and after lots of work and hydrotherapy i have got her down to a healthy weight, she now poops normally, sheds on her own and will explore her enclosure.
She is good to handle, a little skittish when initially getting out of enclosure but no aggression.
feeding on medium frozen thawed mice every other week.
Adult male bearded dragon, unknown age as he came in as a rehome. Experienced keepers only as he is a grumpy guy who is not fond of handling however he can be worked on and will adjust quickly. Doing all he should, pooping, eating and shedding well. Small stubbed tail but otherwise healthy. Slowly accepting fresh veg in small amounts. As a treat he loves beetle grubs. Very energetic and will enjoy room to run.
All interested customers for rehoming must provide proof of a suitable setup, knowledge and understanding of the desired animal, be willing to answer questions and must be prepared for the chance of being found to be an unsuitable home for the animal. A donation towards the animal may also be asked for if you are inquiring about a Rehome animal.
We know how hard it can sometimes be to provide for your reptiles and so would like to offer to take them in and look after them while searching for a forever home.
Snakes no bigger then 6ft
Must come with viv/tub depending on size of reptile.
Please let us know if we can help and dont hesitate to ask any questions
We do not call ourselves a rescue because we are not a charity and would be making money unlike rescue services who are non profit.
